Wesakechak Supports work alongside Individuals to maintain a clean and organized home to ensure Individuals experience a comfortable home situation that reflects their character and needs. We invite Individuals to choose colours, decor themes, and textures that are soothing or sensory pleasing to them within their living space. Individuals can invite family and friends for meals or to visit. We have an open-door policy.

Our approach is not to do the work for Individuals we provide supportive care for, but rather encourage independence in a safe and supportive environment. We begin with visual prompts and initially work alongside Individuals, then gradually decrease our involvement to only watching and providing feedback as needed. We support household tasks and sanitation through regular scheduled cleaning.

Individual development is achieved through expanding individual motivation, which is key to developing a routine.
