CirCLe Of Courage

The Circle of Courage* model of support is a model of empowerment, and it is the core of our service approach.

Within the model, four core values are encompassed: 

• Belonging
• Mastery
• Independence
• Generosity

The central theme of this model is that a set of shared values must exist in any community to create environments that benefit all. We apply this understanding of community care and shared understanding in all aspects of our work. Support staff work alongside individuals with complex needs to build trust, encourage individual responsibility, discover their individual strengths, and ultimately empower individuals to live full lives.

In turn, Supported Individuals have opportunities to build healthy relationships, access a network of care that acknowledges their pains and any difficulties they may face, and take responsibility for setting the course of their life.
