Wesakechak Integrated Resources has provided residential services in Dawson Creek since 2001, serving children, youth and adults who have a developmental disability, and adults who are Personalized Supports Initiative (PSI) eligible.
It is no secret that residents in the North Region with complex needs face barriers to accessing specialized services. These individuals are often left to navigate under-resourced systems on their own, limiting their access to the quality of care they need to live full lives. Wesakechak is working to address these gaps in service provision, and promote holistic well-being that ensures everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We provide creative residential options for those who have previously been difficult to place in foster home and home sharing situations because of their complex needs. Our work goes beyond providing safety and security; we empower Supported Individuals to be the decision-makers and lead happy, healthy, fulfilling lives.
